Extreme AI Aggression Stellaris

A mod that greatly increases the difficulty of AI by increasing their aggression.

This mod is a significant change to the game that increases the aggression of the AI in the game.

With the addition of aggression levels when starting a new galaxy, one can find that the experience of the game is now better tailored to your personal interests when it comes to challenge and fun. However, there are those who find a more aggressive artificial intelligence to be more engaging and interesting to their experience. And then there are those who want an even bigger challenge than that, over and above the previous AI aggression mod I posted (Adjusted AI Aggression, linked at the bottom, which has lower set values than this mod, for more aggression than normal, but not as much as this mod). For that reason, I’ve decided to create the Extreme AI Aggression mod. If you want a far more aggressive opponent, then I’m sure you will enjoy this!

This mod adjusts the Base, no_colony and boxed_in sections of the Defines file. Standard aggression is a base of 25, with low aggression reducing it to 12.5 and high increasing it to 50, depending on what you choose when you create your galaxy. Boxed In standard is 4 while No Colony base is 2, both of these being multipliers to the base aggression level. With this mod, base aggression is quadrupled to 100. Thus, low aggression would be adjusted to 50 (which with the starting numbers would be equivalent to high aggression) while high is adjusted to 200, with Boxed In changed to 6 while No Colony is changed to 4. This makes for a very challenging experience.

So, to put it clearly:
– Base Aggression Quadrupled from 25 to 100.
– Boxed In Multiplier changed from 4 to 6.
– No Colony Multiplier changed from 2 to 4.

PLEASE NOTE: This mod IS NOT to be used with my other mod ‘Adjusted AI Aggression’. They alter the same lines of the Defines file and will directly conflict with one another, causing problems or the game to crash (as it is wont to do when mods clash).

– AI obviously uses this mod, as it’s the entire point.
– The mod modifies the Defines.lua of the game to alter the Base, Boxed_In and No_Colony sections of the NAI part of the file.
– This mod is NOT Ironman and Achievement compatible, at least I don’t think so, so please use at your own risk if you are playing achievement and Ironman games.
